My name is Is-Ra-El Baasha of the H.O.B House of Baasha INC. and the Awakening. I am the founder and owner of both entities. I pride myself with reasons and factual informative resources. The H.O.B House of Baasha INC. is simply the umbrella to many of my entrepreneurships that I have become invested. It is not only an umbrella it is also the family crescent of my inheritance. Although, The Awakening is a media outlet which provides a means of expression, art, visual, word, and communication, The Awakening became the means of enlightenment. A source, somewhat, for the African Americans and their communities, to gain their true identity, one which has been strip from the fabrics of life and history, torn from their ancestral genealogy, and replaced with ignorance, in the pages of education, and religion.
I began to notice how the African Americans would bicker over who was the bigger niggard, a word with such small meaning, yet carries such a profuse amount of weight. I also began noticing how one African American would address the other as property of his own by saying my niggard. This confused me, for I grew up in a time where an individual would dare not address one another with the likeness of such a word, of-course that time has transitioned, and aspired. Therefore, I felt it was a responsibility of my own, in the year of 1994, to embrace as many young African American men and women as possible, and strip from them this ignorance called education, and embark upon each with, knowledge and wisdom. A task that felt as though it took a life time, although, I was very pleased of the response from each male and female individual, each took to this new found truth as if they have not eaten in days, and sought to devourer it as the most delicious meal ever tasted. It was then I knew that something had to be done. So my first lesson was to put away with derogative words, and replace them with words such as King, and Queen. It was my personal goal to inform each individual that black is not a race, nationality, creed, but a color which bare no correlation to the identity in which they are. A Hebrew male and female, our Gods chosen amongst all races.
It was with this truth of identity I knew that not only would they awaken, but also be delivered from self-persecution, and persecution from others. That the fight and struggle would go from being, who was the biggest niggard, too we are all Hebrew and we are the chosen race of our God. This is the fear of our enemies that we as a people will awaken, and free ourselves from captivity, and oppression, this is the fear in which they justify with anger, aggression, and violence.
